About us
The Retail Europe Business was created in 2007 to bring more focus to the DIY multiple segments and operate as a pure sales and marketing organization. This organization ensures 100 % focus on customers, whilst developing sales and giving the opportunity to be more flexible. Retail Europe sources predominantly from internal manufacturing units, having the freedom to source externally if necessary.
PPG Retail Europe is built on a Single Business Entity Model (SBE), based in France giving us the flexibility to expand quickly into new markets on a Pan-European basis.
Our main objectives:

• dedicated to large multiple retailers,
• offering the best of both worlds: private label & brands,
• offering best practice & innovation from across the PPG group,
• to be at the forefront with technical excellence and product innovation.
Organisation & Activities
 Retail Europe is an AC EMEA Region which co-ordinates activities throughout Western Europe. France, UK, Benelux are the key markets where Retail Europe operates. An expansion has started in Spain, Italy and Portugal.
In order to respond better to our customer’s needs with specific characteristics and requests in each market, Retail Europe is organized into 3 commercial regions (Southern Europe, Benelux, UK& Ireland), managed by a cross-European leadership team.
DIY
Most of the business covers Private Label. We only hold significant branded business in France with AVI & RIPOLIN.
Our products are distributed through major DIY outlets and specialty paint stores. Throughout the Retail Europe region, we are improving our products for both markets. Through extensive research and innovation, we are building new products which produce a better performance for the consumer, whilst remaining VOC 2010 compliant.
Sustainability
Environmental performance is a major part of the business. We have been first with the Ripolin brand to offer to the consumer an environmental range (low VOC level). To go further in our environmental process, we developed a charter for the Ripolin brand: www.ripolin.tm.fr

Introduction of a Green Range certified NF Environment & ECO LABEL.
 Use recycled packaging
Ripolin contributes financially to Eco-packaging by helping administrative districts in selective collection of waste.
